The three-day event, organized by BTC Inc. and held at The Venetian Las Vegas, is anticipated to attract over 30,000 participants. Vice President J.D. Vance’s address is scheduled to headline the “Code + Country” programming segment and will be broadcast globally through Bitcoin Magazine’s digital platforms. His speech is set to take place at 9 a.m. on May 28, which marks the second day of the conference.
According to the event’s press release shared with the media, Vice President Vance—who has been an outspoken critic of financial regulatory overreach throughout his time in the Senate—has previously condemned instances such as the 2022 bank account freezes in Canada, viewing them as illustrations of the dangers posed by centralized control. He has also voiced opposition to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s (SEC) handling of cryptocurrency regulation, calling instead for more transparent policies governing open-source monetary systems.
It was stated by the organizers that Vice President Vance’s keynote will center on bitcoin’s potential to enhance innovation, strengthen financial sovereignty, and reinforce national resilience. “This represents more than just a headline—it’s a signal,” noted BTC Inc.
