Date:

A limited edition timepiece, the Franck Muller 41mm Solana, has been launched through a collaboration between luxury watchmaker Franck Muller and Solana.

Merging Luxury Watchmaking with Web3 Innovation

Swiss luxury watchmaker Franck Muller has partnered with the Solana blockchain to launch a limited edition timepiece. The Franck Muller 41mm Solana watch, limited to 1,111 units, carries a price of $24,360 (20,000 francs). This launch marks a pioneering collaboration that merges traditional haute horology with cutting-edge Web3 innovation.

Moreover, the artisans of Franck Muller designed the watch by drawing inspiration from the speed of the Solana blockchain. To enhance its functionality, they equipped it with a refined dial featuring a distinctive QR code, which directly connects to the wearer’s personal Solana wallet—seamlessly blending classic watchmaking with modern technology.

A Franck Muller representative stated that ‘this partnership embodies an ideal fusion of enduring design and the ever-evolving realm of Web3.’ They further expressed excitement over crafting a timepiece that not only reflects the brand’s commitment to watchmaking mastery but also captures the innovative essence of the Solana community.

In addition to offering visual elegance and advanced technology, the watch grants its owners access to a range of exclusive privileges, including priority entry to upcoming initiatives, tailored on-chain experiences, and invitations to select private gatherings.

Franck Muller has individually numbered each of the more than 1,100 timepieces and securely embedded the owner’s Solana wallet address within the watch. This functionality has turned the watch into a personalized digital hub, serving as the wearer’s wallet, access key, and data repository all in one.
