CryptosRus founder calls XRP-cardano partnership an “Unstoppable Force” driven by community power

Date:

George Tung, the founder of CryptosRus, emphasized the powerful potential of merging the XRP and Cardano ecosystems. He described their united communities as having the strength to form an “unstoppable force” within the cryptocurrency market.

He based his assessment on the fact that both projects have some of the most loyal and resilient holder communities in the crypto space, with supporters who continue to hold through prolonged market slumps and regulatory hurdles.

Tung’s remarks arrive as a fresh wave of cooperation starts to emerge between the XRP and Cardano communities, following a long period of strained relations. Active development teams, prominent advocates, and steadfast investors have continuously supported both ecosystems, even as market fluctuations and outside challenges have shaken other crypto projects.

The resilience of both communities was clearly demonstrated during difficult times, such as when the SEC filed a lawsuit against Ripple. This legal action significantly affected XRP’s market availability and price, yet strong community support persisted throughout the ordeal.

Past Rivalries Shift Toward Strategic Alliance

Although certain investors exited their positions amid the legal battle, a steadfast segment of XRP holders retained their stakes throughout the period of uncertainty. This enduring commitment reflected the loyalty emphasized by Tung in his analysis.

Earlier tensions between the Cardano and XRP communities arose due to differences in regulatory treatment—specifically, the SEC’s perceived preferential handling of Ethereum compared to its aggressive stance toward XRP. When Cardano’s founder, Charles Hoskinson, criticized the SEC’s actions, he encountered pushback from XRP advocates, which contributed to a rift between the two groups.

Nevertheless, hostilities were defused last year when XRP supporters received an apology from Hoskinson, who also proposed joint ventures aimed at benefiting both ecosystems. His conciliatory gesture has gradually evolved into specific plans promoting integration and reciprocal support between the two blockchain networks.

Ongoing collaboration initiatives involve a proposal from Hoskinson to introduce Ripple’s RLUSD stablecoin on Cardano’s blockchain. He has discussed with Ripple’s team the inclusion of Cardano among RLUSD’s supported networks. This move aims to enhance utility for ADA holders while expanding the adoption of Ripple’s stablecoin.

The integration now includes airdrop opportunities, making XRP holders eligible for the forthcoming distribution of Midnight tokens. Cardano will airdrop NIGHT and DUST tokens to 37 million crypto wallets, providing added benefits to the XRP community and boosting awareness of its privacy-focused Midnight protocol.

The plan includes adding XRP support to Cardano’s Lace wallet, so users can use both XRP and ADA in one place. This update will show how well the wallet can work with different blockchains and give real benefits to both the XRP and Cardano communities.
