Vice President Vance to Deliver ‘Code + Country’ Keynote at Las Vegas Bitcoin Summit

BTC Inc. is organizing the three-day event at The Venetian Las Vegas, expecting to draw over 30,000 participants. Vice President J.D. Vance will headline the “Code + Country” programming segment with an address scheduled for 9 a.m. on May 28, the conference’s second day. Bitcoin Magazine’s digital platforms will broadcast his speech globally.

According to the event’s press release shared with the media, Vice President Vance—who has been an outspoken critic of financial regulatory overreach throughout his time in the Senate—has previously condemned instances such as the 2022 bank account freezes in Canada, viewing them as illustrations of the dangers posed by centralized control. He has also voiced opposition to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s (SEC) handling of cryptocurrency regulation, calling instead for more transparent policies governing open-source monetary systems.

The organizers stated that Vice President Vance’s keynote will focus on bitcoin’s potential to drive innovation, enhance financial sovereignty, and bolster national resilience. BTC Inc. stated, “This represents more than just a headline—it’s a signal.” CEO David Bailey.

Bitcoin is at the forefront of the national conversation.

He further added:

Leaders from the technology, finance, and policy sectors will headline Bitcoin 2025. In previous years, speakers have included U.S. President Donald Trump, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., and top executives from major financial institutions. The event highlights bitcoin’s growing influence in mainstream economic and political discussions.

Scheduled to take place from May 27 to 29, the conference will offer registration and live stream access through Bitcoin Magazine’s official website. Attendance at The Venetian Las Vegas will also include representatives from Bitcoin.com News.
